Day 10 - Not Much Happened

Day 10: Nothing exciting happened. Just school, homework, basketball. But we hit 10 subscribers! Sometimes showing up is enough. The reality of teen entrepreneurship.

Day 10 - Not Much Happened

Today was boring.

I've had a busy week at school.
Way more homework than I like, plus tests (UGH!)
Next week starts our basketball games so we've had a lot of practice.
My knee hurts and I'm tired.

I only sent two text messages to the Brand Ambassador group. That's all I did for the business.

My message to the Brand Ambassador Group

Wait! we did have a WIN.
We hit 10 subscribers! When we started it was 0 people and now it's 10.
That's kinda cool.

But yeah, not every day is exciting.

My Teacher said that's normal. Some days you just show up even when nothing happens.

I'm thinking about:

  • How to find people who need help selling stuff
  • Should I focus on one type of product like the other "Ricky"?
  • How do I get my Brand Ambassadors to actually do stuff?

Tomorrow I need to be more intentional:

  • Message 5 people about selling their stuff
  • Post more on my social media (scary but gotta do it)
  • Follow up with Brand Ambassadors (hopefully to keep them excited)

Teacher's Take

  • Most people quit when they hit a boring day. It's all fun and exciting in the beginning. Especially, when the boat sold week 1. But, now the work starts.
  • Keep showing up anyway. Consistency is the difference.
  • Ricky didn't make progress today, but he didn't quit either. That's what matters. That's the win for today.

The Numbers - Day 10

Money Spent: $65.17
Money In: $4,000
Subscribers: 10 🎉 (up from 6!)

How I'm feeling: 6.5/10
(Nothing exciting except the Brand Ambassadors and the Subscribers)

See ya tomorrow,
Ricky
