Day 6 - What Product(s) Do I Sell?
I have $4,000 and 359 days to turn it into $1 million. What should I flip first? Electronics? Sports gear? Tools? I need your advice. Day 6 of the journey.
I am so happy that the boat sold. Now, we really have two things to do:
- Officially set up Flip-n-Ricky as a real company.
My Teacher will help me with that. - Find our next product to sell. Here is where I could use you're help. What product do we chose?
On Monday, I set out to plan this week and my goals were to sell the boat and identify my next product. I think we are close to calling this week a big WIN, but not quite there to hitting my full week 1 goals.
But, something interesting is happening and my Teacher warned me about this. The more people that I talk to, the more opportunities I am seeing.
- Someone told me yesterday that they had two trailers that I could help them sell at their work.
- My Grandpa has more stuff he could give me to sell that he's not using (treadmill, stationary bike, etc)
- Is buying stocks something I should consider?
- There was an Estate Sale in my neighborhood yesterday, but it was over by the time I got home from basketball practice (I saw the signs as my dad drove me home). Should I go to these things?
Do I choose a path or do I let the path choose me?
Teacher Notes
- This is where business get challenging. The "uncertainty" factor of what do I do now? There's an methodology that I love to use which could help anyone looking for a job, a business, or an opportunity:
Conversations --> Connections --> Opportunities
This simply means that the more conversations you have with people will lead to more connections that could lead to more opportunities.
- The right path will find you. Remember to only "control" what you can "control".
